In response to COVID-19, HathiTrust Digital Library has made over two million books from McGill University Library’s print collection available online for all McGill students, faculty, and staff. This workshop will introduce participants to the HathiTrust Digital Library, and show participants how to access material available to them.

Tips for Teaching Remotely

Planning engaging Zoom classes

To maintain student engagement in Zoom classes, intersperse lecturing with different strategies that allow students to actively participate. Click here for an example.

Peer assessment

Consider using peer assessment to provide students with an opportunity to comment on each other’s work (written or oral presentations), receive feedback from multiple sources and critically reflect on their own work.
