This webinar will cover the remarkable experience of having a class collaborate on creating a game, and using it as a means of motivation and guidance for research questions and assessment (eliminating quizzes and tests). “More than a Game”: The Changing Roles of Game Librarians and Game Collections in Academic Libraries

In this webinar, participants will discuss how game librarians can support academic and non-academic programming in a variety of ways. Among other important tips and tricks, participants will learn how to create multipurpose collections that support research and ‘serious play,’ as well as non-academic programming, to advocate for inclusivity in design and maintenance of game collections.

New! McLennan-Redpath Terrace Pick-Up Service

 

A Terrace Pick-up Service is now available to McGill students, faculty, and staff for print books not accessible electronically or through the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS).

 

Retrieving materials from BCI institutions not possible due to COVID-19 service disruptions

 

This summer, the BCI unified catalogue will be implemented. As a result of this province-wide roll out, McGill users will see group holdings when “BCI-Quebec University Libraries” or “Libraries Worldwide” is selected in the Held By Library search results tab.
