We had all hoped this September would be the return of full library services, but the pandemic is still upon us. Please note that as of August 25th, masks are again mandatory inside the library. As we are not moving yet to Step 4 of the BC Restart Plan, we are adjusting our program plans to include online options and in person events with very limited capacity. As of September 13th, vaccinations and masks will be required for all in-person program attendees ages 12+. This does not pertain to using the library- just to participating in programs in our Mainil Workshop room. As always, we want to support you, keep you safe, and provide you with excellence in library services to the very best of our ability. We are delighted that our new Outreach Coordinator Lise Kreps will be starting with us September 8th, and will continue to develop engaging events as we navigate the ongoing health directives. We hope we can gather in larger groups safely soon. Hope to see you at the library!

~ Heather Evans-Cullen, Library Director
