“Every morning in the bathroom I would repeat the same phrase to myself over and over again . . . 'Today I’m really gonna be a tough guy.' Growing up in a poor village in northern France, all Eddy Bellegueule wanted was to be a man in the eyes of his family and neighbours. But from childhood, he was different- 'girlish,' intellectually precocious, and attracted to other men.” —Excerpt from The End of Eddy.
Our Saturday Book Club focuses on queer authors or narratives. Everyone is welcome to attend. This month we are discussing The End of Eddy by Édouard Louis. Join us on Zoom to share your experience of the book.
Wednesday Book Club

“Dieting doesn’t work. Not long term. In fact, our bodies are hardwired against it. But each time our diets fail, instead of considering that maybe our ridiculously low-carb diet is the problem, we wonder what’s wrong with us..."-Excerpt from The F*ck it Diet
This month, our Wednesday Book Club is reading The F*ck It Diet: Eating Should be Easy by Caroline Dooner. Join us on Zoom to discuss this book.
Wednesday, January 20, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
