Harmony Arts Exhibition – West Coast Innovators

This exhibition profiles five leaders in art, architecture and design in British Columbia, past and present: Joan Balzar, B.C. Binning, Pierre Coupey, Gordon Smith, and Sylvia Tait — artists recognized for pushing the boundaries of creativity through their practices, teaching and mentoring.

Book Buddies | 6 – 12Y
Saturdays, August 9, 16, 23 and 30, 10:30 a.m., Storyhouse

Children will play literacy games and practise their reading skills with teen volunteers during this one hour program. Kids must be school-aged and able to read some English on their own in order to register for the program. Registration is required and begins Monday, July 28
 

Kids’ Letter Writing Club | 6 – 12Y

Drop-in for our bi-monthly Letter Writing Club. Send your loved ones a special letter written and created by you. Please remember to bring mailing addresses.

Author Camp with Ashley Spires | 8 – 12Y

Ashley Spires will talk about her creative process of book writing and illustrating. Participants will get creative by snapping digital photos and making their own stories in a storytelling scavenger hunt. Registration begins Monday, July 28.

In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she’s Divergent and won’t fit in.
