Persian Bookclub

Authors in our Community – Gold Mad

Gold Mad is a gripping historical thriller set in the Klondike told by former geologist and gold prospector Michael Maser.

Friday Night Concert – Latin Chamber Music

An intimate evening of Latin-influenced music performed by some of Vancouver’s finest musicians. Members of this ensemble perform with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Opera, Turning Point Ensemble and more.

Music in Hollywood with Michael Conway Baker

Join local award-winning composer Michael Conway Baker for this entertaining series on music for the movies. Each presentation includes a live performance by a special guest musician.

Booktopia Puppet Show | 3Y+

A half-hour fairy tale puppet show presentation of The Bremen Town Musicians for our youngest book lovers to celebrate Booktopia. Online registration opened at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 7. Please register each child separately.

Parent-Child Mother Goose®

Infant classes: 10:30 a.m.
Toddler classes: 9:15 a.m.

The Parent-Child Mother Goose program is a group experience for parents and their infants focusing on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together. Parents gain skills and confidence which can enable them to create positive family patterns during their children's crucial early years and give their children healthy early experiences with language and communication.

Booksale Success!

Thank you to everyone who came to our booksale from April 10 – 12! We had a great weekend and it made us happy to see so many of you leave with bundles of books under your arms. Be sure to check out our book sale kiosk near the main entrance where you'll find books for sale all the time.  

North Shore Youth Chess Tournament

West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation director Jo-Ann Wood was named Citizen of the Year by the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce at the April 23 President's Dinner and Excellence Awards. Congratulations Jo-Ann!
