Greater Sudbury's 2021 Canada Summer Games Bid Opportunity

A website has been launched to engage Greater Sudbury residents and determine levels of public support for the community's bid for the 2021 Canada Summer Games. The site is designed for people to sign up and indicate their interest in showing their support, and in finding out more in volunteering, purchasing tickets and sponsorship opportunities.

We would encourage those who are interested to share the link with their networks in order to help us gain a better understanding of public support.

Tourism Spotlight

The Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre (NORMHC) have achieved record numbers for their 2016 season by reaching over 11,000 visitors (400% increase since 2011). Their expansion and enhancements to their two museum sites in Capreol have been key to attracting new visitors. Also, their popular Terror Train experience during the month of October, still continues to help them raise awareness of the museum and boost their attendance.
